OUR LOCATION

Nestled just southeast of the village of Danbury in Essex, Danbury Ridge takes its name from the distinctive geological feature on which it lies — the Danbury to Tiptree ridge. The estate sits perfectly between the Blackwater Estuary to the north and the River Crouch to the south, two maritime influences that help create the exceptional microclimate ideal for vine growing across the region.

OUR VINEYARDS

The estate comprises 28 acres under vine, spread across three meticulously managed vineyards: Octagon Block, Sleipnir Block, and Polo Field. Beyond the estate, within the wider Crouch Valley region, Danbury Ridge also owns and manages a further 16-acre vineyard in Purleigh (Spar Hill). In 2025, we expanded with the addition of Lark Hill, a 14-acre site in Canewdon, further strengthening our commitment to crafting world-class English wines.
